Magma has an easy expansion solution that allows you to upgrade to the PCI Express platform without losing your investment in PCI cards. Through PCI Express® you can now add any number of PCI slots to your computer with a Magma PCI Expansion Chassis. Practically any type of PCI card can be used in the Magma expansion chassis ranging from audio processing to video capture, graphics, test & measurement, data-acquisition, SCSI, FibreChannel, SATA and more.

The new expansion chassis provides four, seven or thirteen PCI slots in Magma’s standard rack-mount enclosures and is compatible with PCI Express based Windows, MacOS X and Red Hat Linux computers. The host connection is through a 1 lane (x1) PCI Express host card and cable.
